ECHO is a co-op hide-and-seek horror game played in total darkness. The only light is sound: every step, every clap, every thrown stone sends out an echo that draws the world for a moment — and tells the Hunter exactly where you are.
One player becomes the Hunter. Everyone else hides, searches the map for the parts that open the way out, and tries to escape before the round ends.
• Hiders get 60 seconds to scatter while the Hunter is blind.
• Find parts across the map, bring them to an exit and get out. You can carry only one part at a time — split up, or stick together.
• Throw stones to see ahead — but the Hunter sees every echo too.
• Your voice makes light as well: a whisper glows a little, a scream lights up the whole room.
• The Hunter grabs at close range and can, now and then, see everyone through the walls.
• Up to 8 players online, choose how many Hunters
• Online through open lobbies (nearest first) or a private lobby code for friends — no account needed
• Local network play
• Proximity voice chat
• 4 maps: an abandoned metro station, a Soviet apartment yard, a closed waterpark and a summer camp in the pine woods
• 4 graphic styles, chosen by the host: Contour, Lidar, Chalk and Nightmare
• Map events: a ghost train, thunderstorms, "lights out" over the camp loudspeakers
• Solo mode to explore the maps

Install instructions
1. Download the .zip and extract it (right click → Extract All). Don't run the game from inside the archive.
2. Open the extracted folder and run ECHO.exe.
3. Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" — the game isn't signed yet. Click "More info" → "Run anyway".
4. If Windows Firewall asks, allow access (both private and public networks) — online and local network play need it.
5. Set your player name in Settings → Game.
Playing online: an internet connection is needed; the game connects to Epic Online Services by itself, no account required.
Playing on a local network: everyone on the same Wi-Fi / cable network; the host creates a game in "Local network", others enter the host's IP (UDP port 7777).
To uninstall, just delete the game folder.
You can also install and update ECHO through the itch.io app.

The game is cool, and the graphics are also done in an interesting way. Looking forward to it on Steam.
